Psychologists’ Association of Alberta
I am a Registered Provisional Psychologist with over ten years of experience working with children, adolescents, families, and adults. I am registered with the College of Alberta Psychologists and am a member of the Canadian Psychological Association. I completed my undergraduate degree at Mount Royal University and my Master of Education Degree (School and Applied Child Psychology) at the University of Calgary. I have worked primarily with children with developmental and behavioural challenges in respite, treatment-based, early intervention facilities, and school-based environments.
Since completing my education, I have gained experience in private practice working at Rocky Mountain Psychological Services. There, I specialized in conducting PsychologicalAssessments, Counselling (i.e., Cognitive Behavioural therapy, Play-based therapy), and Neurofeedback services. Assessments that I developed expertise in include the following: Learning Disabilities, Giftedness, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Mental Health, ADHD, AISH/PDD funding, and full psycho-educational assessments. I use a strength-based lens when completing assessment services, personalizing each assessment conducted and providing empirically-based recommendations. Additionally, I have counselling experience, specializing in fostering strategies and interventions for self-regulation (e.g., emotional regulation, impulsivity).
