Ally Venturo
B.A., M.A., Registered Provisional Psychologist
I am a Provisional Psychologist who has worked 5 years in the field of mental health. I graduated with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. I have a strong interest in supporting teenagers and families struggling with communication, conflict, and problem solving. I am passionate about working with teenagers and families who have experienced trauma, substance use/addictions and mental health concerns including PTSD, anxiety, and attachment related concerns.
I have worked extensively with teenagers and families in the nonprofit sector to support them in relationship building, conflict resolution, family reunification, and systems navigation. In providing trauma-focused, person-centered therapy, I hope to provide a space for teenagers and families to share their stories at a pace they are comfortable with.
