B.A., M.A., Registered Provisional Psychologist

I have 7 years of experience in the field of mental health. I have a strong interest in supporting youth and adults who are experiencing mental health concerns including anxiety, relational issues, work/school stressors, difficulties managing emotions, and attachment related presentations. To best support my clients, I am trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), trauma informed practice, applied suicide prevention and non suicidal self-injury.

I have worked extensively with teenagers and adults, as well as families in the non-profit sector to support them in learning conflict resolution skills, communication skills, relationship building skills, and problem-solving skills. While I am passionate about developing individualized strategies and solutions for each client, I value the “why” behind a person’s behaviour.
I believe wholeheartedly in showing up in an authentic way and creating a safe space for clients to share their experience, explore different perspectives and to challenge distressing thoughts/patterns. As a therapist, my hope is to empower clients to gain greater self-awareness, self-compassion, and overall wellbeing.
