Do you ever get the sense that something is not quite right, or that something getting in the way of you being the best version of yourself? It can be hard to put this feeling into words, and, depending on the person, the cause can be quite different.

My name is Jessa, and I provide individual counselling to teens and adults. My ideal client notices that something feels off and hopes for things to be different. I consider it a privilege to be a therapist, and my goal is to walk alongside you to figure out where you may be getting stuck. Together, we can find ways to get you “unstuck”.

My approach is collaborative, empathetic, and nonjudgmental. My goal as a therapist is to create a safe space where we can be authentic and look at new strategies and perspectives to try.

I have experience collaborating with adults and teens who have anxiety, depression, experienced trauma, or are feeling stressed, overwhelmed, or otherwise stuck. With my teen clients, I have additional expertise working on self-esteem, self-harm, disordered eating, perfectionism, and relationship challenges.
