I have extensive experience working with families impacted by neurodevelopmental and mental health disorders. A strong interest of mine is supporting neurodiverse children and their families in the areas of social, emotional, and behavioural regulation and skills development. To best support my clients, I am trained in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBCT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), motivational interviewing, feedback-informed treatment, Solution-Focused (SFBT) and psychological assessments.

My assessment skills span the areas of ADHD, learning disabilities, intellectual disabilities, mental health, and executive functioning challenges. I’m trained primarily in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and have experience with delivering Telepsychology services. I have trained and worked within outpatient mental health clinics, special education settings, and residential Autism Spectrum Disorder treatment programs. I am passionate about providing evidence-based psychoeducation and support to families in the areas of social, emotional, and behavioural regulation and skills development.

I work within a client-centered and strengths-based framework to emphasize areas of accomplishment, while supporting areas of need. I am collaborative in my approach and believe in working together as a team to help support you in reaching your goals. I strive to help clients view their emotional experiences in a flexible and nonjudgmental way. Together we can identify unhelpful thought patterns and responses related to big emotions and life transitions. I also emphasize the power of the mind-body connection in regulating physical and mental well-being.
