Rachel Rego
Provisional Psychologist

Provisional Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists - License No. P7789

My expertise is in helping adults and couples thrive through struggles like change, intrusive thoughts, worry, and trauma. I offer a tailored approach to each client, from trauma-informed, person-centered therapy, narrative therapy, cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), and the Gottman Method. Cultural inclusivity is important to me, and I can also help you navigate faith/spirituality. Separately, I offer personality and cognitive assessment, depending on client needs. Overall, I want to get to know you as a person, and not a set of problems.

As we work together, I will listen to you without judgment and help you unpack experiences. I will help you explore your ideas fully, feel emotions safely, enhance your natural strengths, and address deeper needs. By understanding how the parts of you fit together, we can start to harmonize them with who you are and who you want to be.

I, myself, have experienced the good it does to tell someone what happened, and find understanding, empathy, and humour on the other end. This in mind, I aim to offer the same quality of care in our time. So, no matter what sparked this visit, I invite you to continue with a first session or free consultation.

Hobbies & Interests
  • I’m always up for brunch, high tea, and board games with friends and family. I unwind with hot yoga, faith studies, being on the water, and putting pen to paper creatively. On special occasions, I might end up river rafting, or even skydiving!
